Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Market Intelligence Research Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will support our Team Lead – Market Intelligence and collaborate with the wider Market Intelligence team in database management, data collection, analysis, market research, and report writing. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to bespoke reports for clients across the Public, Private, Financial, and Educational sectors, leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.

Responsibilities:

• Perform daily data collection, collation, and database management to bolster our market intelligence activities.
• Conduct research and analysis in support of ongoing projects.
• Support global operational coverage research activities, focusing on principal oil & gas/renewables hubs.
• Collaborate with the Team Lead in report writing and presentation.
• Provide administrative support to the Team Lead.
• Engage in continuous learning and development to enhance job performance and contribute to the team’s success.
  
  

Qualifications / Skills Requirements:

• A positive, 'can-do' attitude, capable of meeting the challenges and expectations inherent to the role.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills for effective internal and external relationship building.
• Highly self-motivated with proven problem-solving capabilities.
• Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Access.
• Knowledge or AWS and HubSpot an advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in comprehensive report writing.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Degree-level education or equivalent working experience (1-2 years); focus on a related field preferred.
• Awareness of current affairs, international developments, and industry trends.
• Knowledge of the subsea oil and gas and/or the offshore renewables industries is an advantage.
• Strong English reading and writing skills.
